Position Paper ‘A strong and clear CPR framework’

In March 2022, the European Commission unveiled its proposal for a revision of the Construction Products Regulation (CPR). During June and July of 2023, the Council and the European Parliament respectively put forth their positions for the upcoming Trilogue.

EOTA is firmly behind the ambitions of the co-legislators. Their objectives include enhancing clarity, addressing known deficiencies through well-balanced solutions, and improving the user-friendliness, practicality, and applicability of the Regulation.

As the interinstitutional negotiations started, EOTA seizes the opportunity to highlight crucial aspects that underpin the effectiveness of the ETA route to CE marking.
